Thu Apr 4, 2013
Rusty, you use the word "hemp" and that deserves highlighting. Prohibition against marijuana was a prohibition against growing ANY kind of hemp, even varieties that have neglible psychoactive properties (in other words, varieties that don't produce a "high").

Wed Feb 27, 2013
Oh, tromboner, I disagree. Verrry interesting dialog. This is good news. Change in such a deeply-seated custom has to come from within. Keep in mind, the women who do this to their daughters believe that they are only doing what is right, proper and expected. Change is happening.

Thu Nov 29, 2012
It's amazing how judgmental people are. Without knowing the full story, not that it's any of our business. Interesting how people fill in the blanks. I'm noting, too, that he didn't say anything about the foreclosure, but I don't draw any conclusions from that.
